Trevor Tomczyk

Mr. Tomczyk is a Managing Director and a member of the Investment Banking team at CoreWest Capital. 

He brings over 12 years of investment banking and financial advisory experience and has completed over $30bn in transactions including merger and acquisition advisory and equity and debt underwriting.  He has significant experience in the energy, TMT, diversified industries and financial institutions sectors with clients throughout the globe having lived in Canada, the US and Middle East during his career.  He has also advised on and executed hedging transactions, performed merger mediation, business planning, IPO / corporate sale preparation and transaction support services as well as general corporate finance advisory to a variety of clients.

Prior to joining CoreWest Capital, Mr. Tomczyk was a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ investment banking group focused on the global energy sector.  While there he worked on variety of transactions to some of the firms most important clients.  Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Tomczyk worked at TD Securities in the investment banking group in both the energy and TMT sectors and at Ernst & Young in the Diversified Industries and Financial Institutions groups performing assurance, M&A, advisory and transaction services. 

Mr. Tomczyk holds the CPA, CA and CFA designations and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University in Nova Scotia.
